Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story

I decided to watch this movie with very low expectations going into it, and for the most part I was fairly dead on with how I thought it would be.  The movie isn't extremely terrible but its not great either, the saving grace of it all is the music.  The music is pretty friggin funny especially after he starts singing with Jenna Fisher.  The movie does have some fairly comical moments, my favorites being everytime they start using a new type of drug, just because it is so repeative that its funny but most of the rest of the comedy within the movie is just too over the top to really be funny unless you were like completely stoned out of your mind.

My Rating: 5/10

Oh and another high spot in the comedy is the various actors playing old musicians for example: Frankie Muniz as Buddy Holly, Jack White of the White Stripes as Elvis, Andy Hershman as Gerry Garcia, and as the Beetles Jack Black (Paul McCartney) Paul Rudd (John Lennon) Justin Long (George Harrison) Jason Shwartzman (Ringo Starr)
